Code of Conduct

Hillcrest Central Code of Conduct

The administration and staff at Hillcrest Central, in collaboration with students, families, the School Council, and the community, are dedicated to creating a positive teaching and learning environment for everyone in the Hillcrest Central community. The school upholds responsibility, respect, good manners, academic excellence, and accountability for one’s actions.

The Hillcrest Code of Conduct applies to all students, staff, and parents, whether on school property, on trips, on school buses, or while attending other venues or events involving the Hillcrest Central Community. Rights depend upon our responsibility to respect the safety and freedom of others.

Students who violate the Code of Conduct will be subject to a progressive discipline program to clarify expectations, support behavioural change, and impose appropriate and timely consequences."
