Welcome to Hillcrest Central School
Hillcrest Central School is nestled in the picturesque town of Teeswater, Ontario, in southern Bruce County. We are a rural community with amenities within the town of Teeswater. Hillcrest Central School is home to the mighty Huskies! We have a lovely student body of approximately 154 students with caring and committed staff and a parent community.
Staff
We have several new staff members this year, and some have moved to new positions/classrooms within the school, so things may look a little different this year.
A special welcome goes out to our new students and families. I know you will find our school and community a wonderful place to be.
Communication: Getting the News
Our weekly updates are an important means of communication between home, school, and the community. The Hillcrest Central School newsletter will be available at the beginning of every year. In addition, look for the weekly Sunday updates. We will continue with paperless communication, and an electronic copy of the weekly update will be sent to families through SchoolMessenger.
School office hours are 8:30 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. The answering machine is available at all times.

Welcome to a New School Year! I hope this message finds you and your children well. As we embark on another exciting school year, I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all back to Hillcrest. It is with great enthusiasm that we look forward to the upcoming academic year, filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and memorable experiences.
Our dedicated faculty and staff have been diligently preparing to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your children. We understand that the past year and a half have brought unique challenges, and we are committed to supporting your child's academic and emotional well-being as we navigate the new school year together.
Here are a few important updates and reminders as we kick off the school year:
1. **First Day of School:** The first day of school for students will be on Sept 3, 2024. Please refer to our school website or the information sent to you for specific details on arrival times and procedures.
